Community Guidelines

LTK is a diverse community of creators, brands, and consumers, and we welcome a range of viewpoints and discussion. We want LTK to be a community where creators, brands, and consumers can connect to share inspiration and recommendations to make the best purchase decisions. These Community Guidelines outline what is not acceptable on LTK. We believe that creators can be responsible for moderating their own communities and will have the ability to delete comments on their content. We expect them to do so consistently with these guidelines. There are also times when we may intervene, review, and reserve the right to take action to enforce these Community Guidelines and our creator and consumer terms. Upon review, if we determine that the content does violate our Community Guidelines, we may remove it or take other actions as we deem appropriate in our sole discretion. We reserve the right to interpret and enforce these guidelines and to update these guidelines at our discretion and without notice.

 

User Safety

We do not allow content on LTK that:

• is unlawful or promotes unlawful activities or goods;
• is sexually obscene or relates to sexual exploitation or abuse, including of minors;
• is libelous, defamatory, or fraudulent;
• is discriminatory or abusive toward any individual or group;
• is false or misleading;
• misrepresents or provides unrealistic claims regarding any product or service, falsely states or otherwise misrepresents affiliation with any product or service, or fails to provide accurate and truthful information;
• promotes any healthcare-related products or services, including medications, devices or treatments in violation of FDA laws and regulations;
• harasses or abuses another individual or group, including our employees, officers, and agents, or other LTK users;
• threatens or incites violence toward any individual or group, especially on the basis of who they are;
• gratuitously depicts or glorifies violence, including violent images; or
• is off-topic, or interacts with platform features in a way that significantly or repeatedly disrupts the experience of other users.

When you are moderating or participating in a community on LTK, we expect that you will be responsible for your own safety and the safety of other users and will only publish content consistent with these guidelines.

 

Intellectual Property

We do not allow content on LTK that:

• is unlawful or promotes unlawful activities or goods;
• infringes any proprietary right of any party, including patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, right of publicity, or other right;
• Impersonates any person or entity, including any of our employees or representatives, including through false association with LTK, or by fraudulently misrepresenting your identity or purpose; or
• violates the confidentiality or privacy of any third party, such as by posting another person's personal information without consent.

When you are posting comments or participating in the LTK community, the thoughts you share should be your own. While posting memes is fine, you may not violate the intellectual property rights of any third party. You also may not impersonate another LTK user or third party. Misuse of personal information is prohibited. Do not share another person’s information without consent, such as by posting someone’s address or location, even if that information is publicly available elsewhere. That may be considered doxxing and a form of harassment or bullying. Additionally, do not misuse the personal information of our creators or consumers that has been posted to LTK.

 

Spam and Inauthentic Activity

We do not allow content or activity on LTK that is:

• automated excessive bulk activity and coordinated inauthentic activity, such as spamming or repeatedly posting identical content;
• bulk distribution of promotions and advertising prohibited by LTK’s Terms of Service;
• a pyramid scheme;
• inauthentic interactions, such as fake accounts, automated inauthentic activity, or generative AI images;
• phishing or attempted phishing; or
• using our servers for any form of excessive automated bulk activity, such as to manipulate LTK links or affiliate networks.

 

Security and Access

We do not allow content or activity on LTK that:

• uses our servers to disrupt or to attempt to disrupt, or to gain or to attempt to gain unauthorized access to, any service, device, data, account or network, including LTK’s;
• uses our servers to extract information via an automated process, such as a bot or a web crawler; 
• inauthentic interactions, such as fake accounts, automated inauthentic activity, or generative AI images;
• uses a significantly excessive amount of bandwidth; attempts to disrupt, disable, or overload the service; or acts as a denial of service against LTK’s service;
• contains software viruses or any other technology designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of the Service;
• provides material support or resources (or to conceal or disguise the nature, location, source, or ownership of material support or resources) to any organization(s) designated by the United States government as a foreign terrorist organization pursuant to section 219 of the Immigration and Nationality Act; or
• violates, encourages, or facilitates the violation of any applicable local, state, national or international law, including regulations promulgated by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the New York Stock Exchange, the American Stock Exchange, or the NASDAQ, and any regulations having the force of law.

 

User Protection

You must not engage in activity that significantly harms other users. We will interpret our policies and resolve disputes in favor of protecting LTK’s community as a whole.

 

Enforcement

We encourage collaboration and trust that our creators, brands, and consumers will welcome and engage with one another respectfully. Where necessary, we provide tools to empower users to delete certain comments or flag comments that may violate these guidelines.

Our team investigates the reports we receive on a case-by-case basis — considering context and the surrounding facts — before taking action. However, we do retain full discretion to take action in response to a violation of these policies, including account suspension, account termination, or removal of content.
